Italy: Human remains found overnight at site of Genoa bridge collapse — reports

Rescue workers pulled more bodies from the rubble of the Morandi bridge collapse in Genoa, from Friday night to Saturday morning, Italian media report. According to reports, the bodies of a couple and their nine year old child were found inside a smashed car. The body of a 30-year-old man was also reportedly found in the rubble, bringing the death toll to 42. However, officials haven't yet... Еще confirmed the numbers. Meanwhile, rescuers continue working at the site, sifting through the rubble and searching for people still missing after the incident. A major section of Italy's A10 highway collapsed during a storm at around 11:30 local time (09:30 GMT) on Tuesday, killing at least 38 people. The cause of the bridge collapse is still being investigated. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has declared a 12 month state of emergency in the region, and pledged €5 million ($5.70 million) of government funds for the area.
