Kurdish demonstrators took to the streets of Rome on Monday in protest of Turkey's 'Olive Branch' offensive on Afrin in north-western Syria. The Kurdish demonstrators carried banners and placards, whilst chanting slogans including «Erdogan is a murderer». The protesters denounced international weapons sales to Turkey. «We demand humanity from Europe. Now it's time to have awareness, to have... Еще humanity. Stop the selling of weapons and military aircraft,» demanded one Kurdish activist. The protest comes as Turkish forces make advances towards Afrin city. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Friday that troops could enter the city «at any moment».
