Italy: Debono arrest and investigation into Panama Papers journalist killing are linked — official

An Italian government official confirmed press reports that the arrest of ex-Malta football player Darren Debono was linked to an investigation into the killing in Malta of investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
