San Giuseppe's church in Seriate, a northern-Italian town which is reportedly one of the places most affected by the coronavirus, has become a depository for the coffins of coronavirus victims before they are sent to be cremated. A total of 45 coffins were dispatched from the Seriate church on Wednesday.
Don Mario Carminati, a priest at the church, explained, «To avoid displacing them elsewhere... Еще, we have preferred to open the doors of San Giuseppe’s church, to host them, to place them already in the house of the Lord.»
«There are 45 coffins right now and more will come, I've been informed. We are praying for them; the community is praying for them,» he added.
