Italy: Bright blood red eclipse puts on a celestial show in the Roman sky

A total lunar eclipse created what is known as a 'blood moon' to put on a celestial show above Rome's ancient landmarks on Friday. The shining white light was seen taking on blood red tones, creating a stunning view. This was the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century, with moon reportedly spending 1 hour 43 minutes in Earth's shadow.
