Aerial footage filmed on Saturday shows army trucks transporting coffins of the coronavirus victims from Italy's worst-hit city of Bergamo to the cemetery in Serravalle Scrivia comune, as almost 800 people die of coronavirus in the past 24 hours taking country's death toll to 4,825.
The convoy of five military vehicles each carrying six coffins was filmed arriving at around 13:00 local time (12... Еще:00 GMT) at the cemetery of Serravalle Scrivia in the province of Alessandria. The government has deployed the army to move coffins from the epicentre of the epidemic in Bergamo to neighbouring provinces as local cemeteries are reaching capacity.
In Lombardy alone, over 22,200 cases have been recorded, while over 57,100 more people are being tested in that region.
