ISS: WATCH space-eye view of Hurricane Harvey sweeping into Texas

Cameras stationed aboard the International Space Station (ISS) captured the size and magnitude of Hurricane Harvey as it has made landfall in Texas, early Saturday. The hurricane was registered in Rockport, Texas at 01:00 local time (06:00 GMT) and is currently moving northwest at 6 miles (10 km) per hour (mph). According to forecasts, the hurricane Harvey will linger for at least seven days... Еще, with heavy rainfall and floods expected in the area. Earlier the hurricane hit the Texas coast as a Category 4 storm with winds reaching 130 mph (209 kph) and heavy rains, however, later the storm was decreased to a Category 3, with 125 mph (201 kph) winds. Harvey is reportedly the most powerful storm to reach the US in close to 12 years. Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared a state of emergency ahead of the hurricane's arrival.
