A protest in Tel Aviv on Saturday attracted at least 5,000 demonstrators who demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resign.
The protest follows an earlier demonstration last Tuesday, which saw attendees rally in support of the prime minister, stating that there was an ongoing attempt to overthrow him.
Footage from today's protest show several anti-Netanyahu banners, as protesters... Еще accused the prime minister of being «extremely corrupted.» The former Mayor of Tel Aviv stated that Israel is «above» the prime minster.
«In such a situation we need him to go home, to fight [for] his innocence and this is it, this is what we are expecting, that he will resign and this is why we are here tonight,» said another protester.
Netanyahu has been charged with bribery, fraud and breach of trust in connection with three separate cases. The prime minster has denied the charges and said that they were part of a political 'witch-hunt' to remove him from power.
