Israel: Protesters gather as 'Crime Minister' Netanyahu questioned for corruption

Anti-corruption protesters gathered outside the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Friday, for the 12th interrogation over alleged corruption charges. Protesters gathered outside Netanyahu's house with banners reading 'Crime Minster', while chanting slogans demanding his resignation. For protester Asher Ben-David it is «unthinkable» that a prime minister... Еще may continue to hold his post for such a long time under interrogation. «He must resign immediately», he added. «The time has come to put an end to this saga,» said another protester, Orly Zinger. Netanyahu is being interrogated by local authorities for the 12th time for allegations of bribery and corruption during his time in office. The prime minister has stated that these are false accusations fabricated by his opponents.
