Anti-government demonstrators rallied outside the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Thursday demanding his resignation.
«We are requesting of him to step down for at least five months until he clears his name and we can be sure and we can trust the person who is leading us,» said Bar, a protester.
Another activist, Giad said: «We see every day, they take away the power of parliament, they take away the power of the people. And we are here to protest and to defend democracy.»
Israel has been hit by anti-Netanyahu protests with activists accusing the prime minister of corruption and poor handling of the COVID pandemic.
