Israel: IDF closes field clinic treating Syrians in Golan Heights

The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) announced on Friday that it would close a field clinic in the Golan Heights which had treated thousands of Syrians. Soldiers packed up supplies as civilians left the health centre for the last time. The Mazor Ladach field clinic — meaning 'relief for the suffering' in Hebrew — launched in 2013 and was part of the army's humanitarian mission. The army is... Еще scaling down operations in the area after the Syrian government regained control of the border and is now considered responsible for civilians' well-being. The closure could be reversed, depending on the humanitarian situation in Syria's southwest. MANDATORY CREDIT: IDF
