Israel: Hundreds protest anti-corruption in Tel Aviv

Hundreds of demonstrators rallied in Tel-Aviv for a weekly anti-corruption protest on Sunday, demanding the resignation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Protesters chanted «stop corruption, leave your office» and «they take from the poor and give to the rich,» as well as held Israeli flags and banners reading «crime minister.» The protest leader Eldad Yaniv said the protesters... Еще gathered «in a fight for the country, for democracy.» On February 13, the Israeli police recommended that Netanyahu should be indicted for bribery and fraud. Over the past year, Netanyahu has been questioned in three corruption probes, which he claims to be false accusations from his opponents. The final decision on whether the Prime Minister will face charges will be made by the attorney general's office.
