At least three were reportedly killed and 50 injured in clashes with security forces during anti-government demonstrations in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Friday, as demonstrators reported gunfire.
Protesters can be seen waving flags, chanting and running as explosions and sounds similar to gunshots can be heard.
The demonstrators reportedly gathered in Tahrir square and attempted to march... Еще towards Khulani Square where they were blocked by concrete barriers and security forces.
«They shoot live bullets, we can't go forward, they fire live bullets at us; we cannot approach them,» said one protester.
Massive anti-government protests have gripped the country since October 1, when demonstrators filled the streets, denouncing high levels of unemployment, widespread corruption and a lack of basic services.
