Hundreds of people fleeing Turkey's military operation in northeastern Syria arrived at the Bardarash camp in Iraqi Kurdistan on Wednesday. Footage shows workers at the camp set up tents before busses with people arrive.
Salar Abdul Majeed, the camp manager, said everything was ready to accept 140 families or 400 individuals.
«We fled because of the war and the bombing of Turkish airplanes... Еще. This bombing is a betrayal from Turkey and the US, especially a betrayal from the US,» said Hassan Ibrahim, a refugee from Al-Malikiyah.
Turkey's military operation against the Kurdish forces named 'Operation Peace Spring' began on October 9, with the stated aim of creating a 'safe zone' in northeastern Syria.
On Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan rejected US calls for a ceasefire and said that he was not worried about possible sanctions.
