Iran: US, Israeli flags produced at this factory later 'used' at protests

A factory in Khomein City, western Iran, produces US, Israeli and UK flags that are later used at protests across the country, such as those held against the US killing of Iranian Quds Force General Qasem Soleimani. Production on the flags was seen in progress on Saturday where workers added colours to a variety of templates before drying and later washing them. The inscription on an Israeli flag... Еще produced at the factory reads 'Death to Israel.' The Diba Parcham Khomeini plant churns out some 130,000 square metres of flags monthly, according to manager at the site Ghasem Khanjani. «Some months around 1,500 to 2,000 metres of US, Israel and UK flags are produced in order to be used in protests,» he stated. Factory founder and CEO Abolfazli Khanjani stressed that the flags are not produced to be set alight at anti-US and anti-Israel demonstrations, despite many such flags being burned at related protests. «We do not produce flags for them to be burned. We produce them regardless of their usage. There is no doubt that we love peace, friendship and compromise with all nations across the world,» he said. «However, when a country allows itself to unfairly assassinate our General [Qasem Soleimani], who ensured the security of our country and families and fought against ISIS, it is not strange that its flag is burned in our country. This is the least thing to show people's wrath and I do not have any bad feelings about it because of this reason,» he added. Flags of Iran and Hezbollah are also produced at the factory as well as banners featuring the image of Qasem Soleimani. **RESTRICTIONS: NO Access Israel Media/Persian Language TV Stations Outside Iran/Strictly No Access BBC Persian/VOA Persian/Manoto-1 TV/Iran International**
