Iran: 'Saudi Arabia covers up its failures in the region' — Rouhani

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that Saudi Arabia wants to «cover-up its failures» in Middle Eastern areas where it was «unsuccessful,» during a a televised interview where he presented a report on the first 100 days of his new government, in Tehran, Tuesday. «Saudi Arabia seeks to solve two problems through enmity with Iran; first it wants to cover-up its failures in the region.» said... Еще Rouhani. «Saudi Arabia was unsuccessful in Qatar, was unsuccessful in Iraq, in Syria and recently in Lebanon and in all of these areas they were unsuccessful and they want to cover up their defeats,” explained the president. The Iranian head of stated then pointed out that the «enemies of the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] in the region were Israel and Saudi Arabia,» along with the «hardliners in the United States.» Rouhani finally added, «We will do all our best in this field, but we have anticipated moves for all the possible conditions.»
