Iran: Protesters shut down Tehran’s Grand Bazaar

Tehran’s Grand Bazaar came to a halt on Tuesday, as thousands protested rising prices and the plummeting value of Iran’s currency, the Rial. Stores were shut down as shopkeepers joined the angry crowds, who knocked over dumpsters and set them on fire. Iran's State TV blamed the vandalism on a few opportunists who were taking advantage of the merchants' anger. Economic unrest has afflicted... Еще several major cities in Iran including Isfahan, Arak, and Kermanshah as the country is suffering from heightened sanctions and unregulated increase of goods.
