Protesters burnt US and Israeli flags as hundreds assembled in front of the former US Embassy building in Tehran on Wednesday, to rally against the recent wave of Israeli killings that has claimed the lives of at least 60 Palestinians since Monday, during unrest related to the US embassy relocation to Jerusalem. «We are here to tell the enemies of Islam that we the Iranians will stand up against... Еще the US and reduce Israel to dust,» a female protester said. «I think it will be over once they arm Palestinians with [something] other than slingshots,» another protester added. Protesters carried flags and banners as they chanted anti-US and anti-Israel slogans. Over 60 Palestinians have been killed and 2,700 injured in protests since Monday, sparking international outcry.
