Iran: Plane crash black box shown to media

The black box recovered from the Ukrainian plane crash site was shown to Iranian state media in Tehran on Friday. The flight recorder had been stored in a crate. Iran had initially refused to hand over the black box to the plane's manufacturer Boeing or to the US. The US has since been invited to take part in the investigation, with the US National Transportation Safety confirming it had... Еще assigned an investigator. Under global aviation rules Iran has the right to lead the investigation. On Thursday, several Western leaders said an Iranian missile caused the downing of the passenger jet, possibly in error. Iran denied that a missile strike from its air defence systems was responsible. A total of 176 people died on Ukrainian International AIrlines flight PS752 shortly after taking off from Tehran's Imam Khomeni airport en route to Kiev. **NO Access Israel Media/Persian Language TV Stations Outside Iran/Strictly No Access BBC Persian/VOA Persian/Manoto-1 TV/Iran International**
