Iran: Local residents react to Tehran summit on Syria

Local residents in Tehran on Saturday morning commented on Friday's trilateral summit on the Syrian crisis between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. One local resident, Ali, said, «I reckon that if all the sides who are dealing with the war put down their guns there will be no more victims and can speak about peace... Еще.» Roja Lotfinezhad noted that «for me the interesting thing was the part of the Turkey, because it seems that Turkey shifted from the West to the East, trying to be closer to Iran and Russia to finish the Syria situation.» Hadi Jafari, another local, also noted that «due to geographic borders and the position of Turkey and its influence on the region, Turkey is important,» and added «I anticipate that the US is feeling worried.»
