Indonesia: Riot follows anti-communist protest in Jakarta

A riot broke out outside the Jakarta Legal Aid institute in the Indonesian capital, Sunday, after a protest against a discussion about crimes committed by the Suharto military dictatorship. The discussion focussed on the mass killings of 1965-1966 which involved massacres of communist sympathisers, certain ethnic groups and socialists by the Suharto regime.
