Indonesia: Hundreds of trapped hikers rescued from quake-stricken Mt. Rinjani

Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency (SAR) rescued the remaining seven hikers on Mount Rinjani, Lombok Island on Tuesday, who were among the hundreds trapped after a 6.4-magnitude earthquake rattled the area on Sunday. Around 600 foreign hikers were left stranded on the 3,726 metre (12,224 ft) mountain, prompting a rescue operation which saw the participation of over 200 Indonesian... Thousands of buildings were damaged, and according to the National Disaster Management Agency, more than 6.200 families have been affected.
