India: Putin lands in New Delhi ahead of 19th India-Russia summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi on Thursday to participate in the 19th India-Russia summit with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders are expected to discuss the further development of the Russian-Indian strategic partnership, in addition to international and regional issues. Several defence deals, including India‘s purchase of S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile... Еще systems from Russia, could be signed during the summit. As part of the programme, Putin and Modi will take part in the Russian-Indian business forum, and will meet with a group of students from the Russian Sirius Educational Centre along with outstanding students from India. The last India-Russia summit was held in St. Petersburg in May 2017.
