At least 19 people died and dozens more were injured after a wall collapsed due to heavy monsoon rainfall in Mumbai's Malad East suburb, on Tuesday.
According to reports, over 50 people have been transferred to the trauma centre at the local hospital. Rescue operations are underway as India's National Disaster Response Force, fire brigade and police were deployed to the scene.

Schools were closed and flights and trains were delayed due to the intense monsoon rainfall.
Local media also reported a similar collapse in Pune, 150 km (93 miles) southwest of Mumbai, causing the deaths of six people.
