Hungary: Thousands protest Jobbik’s €2.5 million fine

Protesters from all sides gathered in Budapest on Friday to protest a €2.5 million fine against the Jobbik Party for alleged illegal financing. The State Audit Office penalized Hungary’s second largest party for allegedly paying below market value for advertising posters. The president of Jobbik said the fine could harm the party’s chances of running for a new parliament in April.
