Hong Kong: Workers repair pavements after damage sustained during protests

Several footpaths in Hong Kong were repaired with bricks and cement on Saturday after months of violent protests caused the destruction of many of the city's walkways, elements of which are often used as projectiles during clashes. Hong Kong has been rocked by protests sparked by a now-withdrawn extradition bill since March. The rallies have since evolved into a wider movement against the government, marked by violent clashes between protesters and the authorities.
