Hong Kong: UK consulate rally support former employee following forced confession complaint

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the UK Consulate General in Hong Kong's Admiralty district on Friday to express their support for former consulate employee Simon Cheng after the latter reportedly filed an official complaint against the Chinese government for forced confession on Thursday. Activists were seen waving UK flags and wearing masks depicting Cheng, who was detained for 15 days... China's state-run CGTN released a report on November 21 saying Cheng had confessed to 'soliciting prostitution'. Cheng denies the allegation saying he was forced to confess.
