Protesters hit the streets of Hong Kong on Sunday to demand the termination of the currently suspended extradition bill.
Demonstrators were seen marching while holding banners as they flocked the streets.
«To me a pause is like playing a DVD, when you pause you can reactivate the bill again so really killing it, terminating it [is necessary],» said Edward Chin, one of the demonstrators.
The... Еще march comes after Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam announced the suspension of the extradition bill on Saturday in the wake of clashes between demonstrators and police.
In February, the Hong Kong government had proposed amending its extradition laws so that the city could accept extradition requests from countries with which it has no prior agreement, such as mainland China.
