Hong Kong’s Disneyland closed once again temporarily, on Wednesday, as coronavirus cases spiked in the city-state.
The park originally closed at the end of January and reopened on June 18. It was open for less than a month before being shutting down again on July 15, amid a new COVID-19 outbreak in Hong kong.
The spike of local cases in the city prompted the closure of gyms, amusement parks, bars and cinemas, as well as a limitation of gatherings to no more than four people.
According to the authorities, over 1500 coronavirus cases have been reported in the city, and eight deaths. On Tuesday, there were 48 new cases, and an additional 19 on Wednesday.
