Activists gathered outside a pier in Hong Kong on Saturday following a larger protest a day earlier against the handover of the site to China's People's Liberation Army.
«The government has promised every time again that the harbour front would be for the people. We had never objected to military vessels docking here once in a while. We've given a very simple solution for that this space is a... Еще public space and only closed when there is a vessel», said activist Paul Zimmerman.
He went on to say that «through trickery again the government again reinforces the agreement to make this a permanent military site. A military site is not for the people of Hong Kong.»
Hundreds gathered outside the facility on Friday with some protesters trying to break in.
