Thousands of people took to the streets of Tegucigalpa, Sunday, to rally against the alleged manipulation of the presidential election results and show their support for opposition candidate Salvador Nasralla. The protest comes after Nasralla claimed he has evidence of electoral fraud. One of the protesters, Maria Paz, said «I am fighting for the democracy of my country because we are in a... Еще chaos because of this corruption that has been bothering us for a long time.» The Honduran Electoral Court is currently in the process of partially recounting the votes. The opposition is boycotting the recount as only around six per cent of the vote is being reviewed. Initial results showed the incumbent President of Honduras Juan Orlando Hernandez winning the election by a few thousand votes.
