Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Tegucigalpa on Wednesday to protest against the alleged manipulation of the presidential election results. Demonstrators set objects alight in front of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Honduras, and marched through the capital's streets. They chanted against Former President and Presidential Candidate Juan Orlando Hernandez, who declared victory... Еще, just as his contender Salvador Nasralla did on Monday. The protest comes following a call by Nasralla Tuesday, after the US state department urged local authorities to quickly review the election results. Only 57% of the votes have been counted up to date, with Nasralla leading the vote with 45% over Hernandez's 40%.
