Honduras: Tear gas flies as Nasralla supporters rally against alleged electoral fraud

Security forces deployed tear gas against protesters rallying against the alleged manipulation of the presidential election results in Tegucigalpa, Wednesday. Protesters set tires alight in the street, sang the national anthem and rallied against former president and current presidential candidate Juan Orlando Hernandez, who declared victory, just as his contender Salvador Nasralla did on... Еще Monday. One protester stressed, «Juan Orlando is a dictator and does not want to leave.» The protest comes following a call by Nasralla on Tuesday, after the US State Department urged local authorities to quickly review the election results. Only 57% of the votes have been counted to date, with Nasralla leading the vote with 45% over Hernandez's 40%.
