Hennessey’s $1.6 million and 1,600hp Venom F5 makes global debut at GIMS

The $1.6 million (€1.3 million) Venom F5 hypercar from carmaker Hennessey made its 'global' debut at the Geneva International Motor Show at the Palexpo convention centre on Tuesday. The car is said to be able to reach a top speed of over 300mph (482kmph), which would make it the world’s fastest production vehicle. A 1,600 horsepower twin turbocharged V8 engine is complemented by a lightweight... Еще chassis and carbon fibre bodywork, with the emphasis on delivering high speeds. Over 700,000 visitors are expected to attend the 88th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, which will open its doors to the public on Thursday. The exhibition will show 900 models, with more than 110 World and European Premiers from 180 exhibitors.
