Six tourists have died and at least 30 more were injured as a violent storm battered a popular tourist region in northern Greece late on Wednesday.
Abandoned cars, motorbikes and possessions littered a beach in Halkidiki, which was badly-affected by gale-force winds, heavy rain and hailstorms.
Two elderly Czech nationals were killed in the town when strong winds swept away their caravan, police... Еще reported.
Elsewhere, a Romanian woman and her eight-year-old child were killed after a roof collapsed on a restaurant in Nea Plagia. While a Russia man and his 2-year old son died when a tree fell on their vehicle in Potidea.
The weather event has been described as «unprecedented» by local media.
