Over 66 migrants were relocated from the island of Lesbos to Aiani in Kozani region on mainland Greece on Friday.
The arrival of migrants who are of Somali origin were coordinated in a way as to circumvent the protest of the locals. They arrived in three separate buses and were accommodated at a local hotel.
«We don't have anything against those people, but we don't know if they are healthy, we... Еще don't know anything, where they are from, why they came here, no briefing at all,» said President of Aiani local community Vavliaras Asterios amid COVID-19 concerns.
«They were fighting with the kids, they were taking pictures of the girls. Do you understand? It is difficult to have them in the village,» added a local.
