Locals flocked to the beach in Epanomi, near Thessaloniki on Wednesday, as Greece started easing its coronavirus measures.
Social distancing measures were not always observed, as crowds of people formed in some areas. Beachgoers were seen sunbathing and swimming, with none wearing masks.
Despite the country lifting some of the lockdown measures, Greeks still cannot travel to nearby beaches or... Еще resorts, while hotels are closed and traffic restrictions are in place. Residents will be allowed to travel to other prefectures on May 18.
According to the Johns Hopkins University, Greece has 2,760 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 155 deaths reported as of Wednesday.
