Kyriakos Mitsotakis was sworn in as Greece's new prime minister in Athens on Monday, a day after his centre-right New Democracy party defeated the ruling left-wing Syriza in a general election. Footage shows Mitsotakis taking oath in front of clergy led by Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece.
The New Democracy party now has 158 out of 300 seats in parliament after receiving 40... Еще percent of votes in Sunday's poll. Former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' Syriza party is down to 86 seats. Mitsotakis beat the main rivals promising to lower taxes, attract investment and improve the job market.
