The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees volunteer said that due to the current situation with the spread of the coronavirus in the Moria migrant camp on Lesbos, hundreds of vulnerable migrants should be removed from the site, Lesbos, Tuesday. «As I was coming, there has been a COVID case in Moria, we need to accelerate the people who are in danger, the elderly, the people who are old, there are not that many but they are 200 — we need to get them out of the camp in secure places so that they are not affected by the virus,» he stressed, adding that there are up to 12,000 people currently in Moria.
