The demonstrators waved banners and danced... Еще through the streets to voice their objection to a $20 million investment from the United States which many fear gives Washington to much influence over the country’s military. The United States announced last week that it would invest around $20 million in equipment and training for the Ghanaian military in exchange for using the nation’s radio channels and runways. Hundreds of opposition groups organised the march in the hope the government hears people’s concerns about giving the US too much control. The protestors converged at the Obra Spot at the Keane Nkrumah Interchange in Accra and marched through the Kwame Nkrumah Avenue and ended the march at the Hearts Park.
