The German Football League (DFL) president Christian Seifert said the country's top clubs agreed on plans to return fans to stadiums from mid-September.
Speaking at an online news conference in Frankfurt on Tuesday, Seifert stressed that allowing supporters back
was not a priority.
«The priority is rather the current health situation. We should not take any unnecessary risks,» said Seifert.
DFL president also announced that medical and hygiene measures will be carefully implemented for the upcoming season and the commission in charge was still deciding on the details.
