Germany: Thousands march against racism and discrimination

Tens of thousands of people marched in a protest against racism and discrimination in Berlin on Saturday. The protest comes after a number of xenophobic attacks across the country and the increasing popularity of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD). A number of groups marched through the German capital under the slogan 'solidarity instead of exclusion — for an open and free society... Еще,' including pro-refugee, gay rights and Muslim organisations. Organisers estimated at least 150,000 people turned out on Saturday.
