Women's rights activists performed a flashmob which became popular during Chilean anti-government protests in Berlin on Friday. Footage shows blindfolded protesters dancing and singing the song which has become an online hit.
«Patriarchate is a judge who convicts us for being born. And our punishment is the violence that you can't see. It is femicide. Impunity for my killer. It's disappearance... Еще. It's rape. And it was not my fault. Or where I was or how I dressed. The rapist is you. The judges. The State. The President. The oppressive state is a macho rapist», goes the song.
The first performance organized by Chilean feminist group Lastesis took place on November 20 in Valparaiso. It was followed by a larger flashmob in Santiago, which was shared on social media. It has been viewed 173 thousand times on Instagram alone.
