Around 1,000 people protested in Hamburg on Monday against what they claim is the infiltration of right-wing populism in the education system. The protest was sparked by an online portal set up by the AfD called 'Neutral Schools', where students and parents are encouraged to report teachers who discuss political views. The project has so far been launched in Hamburg, with plans to see it... Еще across the rest of the country. The website offers a platform for students to leave anonymous complaints about professors they consider to be breaking rules of 'neutrality', and for sharing critical opinions about the AfD. The protest was organised by the Trade Union Education and Science (GEW), the Hamburg Chamber of Students (SKH), the Hamburg Chamber of Teachers and the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) and follows months of letters sent by teachers' associations to the Hamburg state government.
