Germany: Seehofer takes responsibility for CSU election fall down, says 'root problem' is in Berlin

Germany's Christian Social Union (CSU) has re-elected Horst Seehofer as its leader, with 83.73 percent of valid votes. Markus Soeder has been chosen to represent the CSU in the 2018 Bavarian election, at the CSU party convention in Nuremberg, Saturday. Seehofer took responsibility for the party's fall down in September federal elections, however, noting that «the root of the problem was in...
