The German Federal cabinet wants to categorise Georgia, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia as 'safe' countries of origin, German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said during a press conference in Berlin on Wednesday. The changes would make it easier for asylum seekers from those countries to be turned back or deported. However they first need to be voted into law. Seehofer said he was «very happy... Еще» with the cabinet's decision, adding that Europe and Germany will have “a very good rule book on migration” if they implement everything they plan. The decision also includes “people who have started job training in Germany until now or have entered a legal, permitted employment,» Seehofer said.
