Germany: Schulz arrives at CDU HQ as talks enter fourth day

Social Democratic Party (SPD) leader Martin Schulz arrived at Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Union (CDU) headquarters in Berlin in the early hours of Wednesday, hoping his faction 'will make progress' as coalition talks continue between the two parties for a fourth consecutive day. Speaking outside the HQ before entering, Schulz said, «I expect that today is going to be a long... Еще day. I hope that we will make progress.» Today marks the fourth day in a row where SPD, CDU and CSU members are meeting to discuss a possible foundation for a new 'grand coalition.'
