Government spokesperson Steffen Seibert once again reiterated Berlin's position on the situation in the Sea of Azov, stating that «free naval traffic in the Sea of Azov must be guaranteed», while speaking at a press conference in the German capital on Monday.
Seibert also added that it was important «to remember what the origin of the conflict, the crisis, and also what the conduct against... Еще international law is.»
He also made reference to the recently concluded G20 summit in Buenos Aires, saying that Chancellor Angela Merkel was pleased with the results.
Seibert drew particular attention to the statement made in relation to climate change stating that «lll G20 members states, apart from the USA, have renewed their commitments to the irreversibility of the Paris Agreement and to its unobstructed implementation. The G20 stated for the first time the target of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.»
