Germany: Refugee attempts suicide by setting fire to shelter

Police Spokesman Richard Barz explained that a security guard noticed the fire and quickly took action, supported by other residents of the shelter and was able to break into the room. «Once they were inside they brought the 29 year old out and began to put the fire out. Afterwards, the fire department took over. The 29 year old, the security guard, and six other inhabitants were then brought to the emergency room for medical treatment at the hospital,» Barz said.
