Long queues formed outside an IKEA store in the German city of Dresden after it reopened on Monday, following weeks of closure because of the coronavirus lockdown.
Footage shows dozens of people waiting for their turn to enter the Swedish furniture chain store. People could be seen wearing masks and respecting 1.5 metres (4.9 feet) distances between one another.
Hairdressers, zoos, museums and... Еще libraries were also permitted to reopen in Dresden on Monday, so long as they comply with strict hygiene measures. Measures are decided by state rather than the federal government in Germany.
Germany has 165,745 confirmed coronavirus cases and 6,866 related deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
